Inteligent navigation soon in Poland

AutoGuard S.A., leading provider of telematic solutions, have begun works on the iNord system: inteligent information about road traffic. The Company received PLN 787,9 thousand to finance this Project from PARP (Polish Agency for Enterprise Development) within European Union funds in the programme: „Support of the B+R investments in companies". The total cost of the investment will amount to PLN 1,8 million. The works on the iNord project should be completed in June 2011.

During the third October weekend on the Myślenice - Zakopane route the 44. Żubry Rally took place. The event is organized by the active rally competitors for the ex-rally drivers, motor sport activists and invited guests. The first place in this year's competition took Ewa and Sobiesław Zasada driving a Mercedes Benz C350. For the following time AutoGuard sponsored the competition.

The conference was organized by the "Flota Auto Biznes" magazine that regularly prepares events for the car fleet specialists. The meetings serve as a source of information and new business contacts.

Last weekend the last round of Polish Motor Rally Championships, the 20th Dolnośląski Rally, took place. This year's Championships were exceptional because the ASTO system of AutoGuard took care of the competing crews safety. This solution allows for controlling the passages of all cars that take part in the rally, during the special stages and also on the access roads. In case of an accident the reaction time of the medical and technical services is shortened to the minimum.

Polish system conquers European rallies

On the 1-3 October 2010 the ELPA Rally will take place in Greece. The Rally is the 8th elimination of the European Championship and it is characterized by the highest 20th degree of difficulty. Three Polish crews will take part in the competition: Michał Sołowow, Maciej Oleksowicz and Michał Ruta. In the Rally the Polish safety system named ASTO (AutoGuard Safety Tracking Operation) based on the GPS technology will also be inaugurated. This solution contributes to improving the safety of the Rally participants.

On the 3rd-5th September 2010 the 36. Warsaw Rally took place. The Rally is the 6. Round of the Polish Motor Rally Championship and the round of the Polish Szuter Cup. Due to this year flood the competition base was moved from Płock to Sierpc. AutoGuard took care of the competitors' safety by providing the special ASTO system (AutoGuard Safety Tracking Operation). This solution contributed to the better safety of the Rally participants as it enables in case of an accident more swift reaction of the rescue services.
