NAVTO OnLine
NAVTO OnLine is an up-to-date solution created by AutoGuard S.A. for companies where swift and continuous communication between a fleet dispatcher and drivers is essential for work efficiency and planning. The system has wide range of functions and an intuitive interface but it is also user friendly.
How does it work?
The heart of NAVTO OL system is a colour touch LCD screen installed in a vehicle. The appliance works as a car navigation and is also an interface of AutoControl 2.0 system for a driver. A driver is able to communicate through NAVTO OnLine with a fleet dispatcher and other drivers and take advantage of many useful types of information. NAVTO OnLine guarantees full cooperation with a digital tachograph in respect of wireless data transmission.
Basic functions available for a driver are following:
- Text communication - CHAT - NAVTO OnLine has an integrated client for a text communication - similar in its functions to popular internet communicators such as GG or ICQ. Every user of a system, no matter if he is a driver or a dispatcher working in an office, within the limits of possessed authorisation, is able to send a text message to any other system user. The several predefined messages can be used or any other text can be written with the help of a screen keyboard.
- Tachograph - NAVTO OnLine cooperates with a digital tachograph. Thanks to an integrated tacho cards reader we will have the possibility to receive information by remote control from a driver's card and transmitt the data to a forwarder. The data can be then analysed with the use of a dedicated software.
- Car navigation - a driver is able in an easy and intuitive way to plan a route itinerary and determine a destination.
- Driver's Identification - an easy function that enables a driver to log in a system and identify any event in connection with an acitve user.
- On-board computer - thanks to the NAVTO OnLine a driver has access to information about a vehicle position, speed and drive direction, battery condition, engine rotation speed. Additionally NAVTO OnLine allows for presenting the condition of appliances and sensors connected to the telematic module (for example sensors switching on and off, temperature in a freezer and so on).
- Invoices - a module that allows a mobile employee to insert immediately information about received (or drawn up invoices) and send it to a company's headquarters. Thanks to the easy interface an user is able to quickly write in details from an invoice and register it in an adequate costs category.
- Actions - a driver has the possibility to define a current vehicle status - Break-down, Refuel, Stop in a jam or on a border checkpoint. A selected status together with a driver's identification and a vehicle's number is sent to a dispatcher.• Orders - NAVTO OnLine receives transportation orders (or service and other) sent to a vehicle by a dispatcher. An order or a route planned with the use of the AutoControl 2.0 is sent to a vehicle as a list of tasks (points to visit). A mobile employee is able to confirm the completion of the particular stages of a commission, this information is resent to a commissioner. Additionally the orders system is integrated with the Navigation - by one click we can go to the navigation screen with indicating the point we should reach.
- Orders - NAVTO OnLine receives transportation or servicing orders sent to a vehicle by a dispatcher through AutoControl 2.0 Additionally the orders system is integrated with the navigation - by one click we can go to the navigation screen with indicating a point we should reach.
- Dynamic navigation - Classic car navigation systems that are based on geograhpic data integrated into an appliance allow only for calculating the shortest or the fastest route. In these cases the data are delivered by maps providers in months-long update cycles. NAVTO OnLine allows for more - route optimalisation based on information about traffic jams and other restrictions in traffic flow provided dynamically - thanks to the data received from the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) or from vehicles equipped with NAVTO OnLine or with other Telematic Systems.
- Increase in work efficiency of a sales representative, a driver, a serviceman. The current control of location allows for checking the completion of tasks. Reports enable easier verification of work done. The excellent tool for a manager of mobile sales representatives.
- Reduction in communication costs between a dispatcher and a driver. Easy transfer of data and control of completion of service or transportation commissions. Remote control access to the data from the digital tachograph without the necessity of waiting for the return of a vehicle to a base.
- Improvement in a vehicle exploitation culture - the system allows for an easy control of speed, engine rotations. We can easily motivate the vehicles' users to a more economic and a safer drive.
- Reduction in fuel consumption. Current control of fuel consumption, refuelling and potential fuel losses. The route optimalization induces the reduction in fuel consumption and in overall costs.
- More swift exchange of invoices - exchange of invoices and commissions between a company and a mobile employee which makes the invoicing and accounting more efficient. It allows for more seldom visits of the employees at the company's headquarters and it leaves more time for the operational activities.
- It is the most efficient method of calculating the revenue tax in cases of using a company car for private purposes.
- Improvement in safety of a car user, also protection from theft attempts. The system allows for initiating a vehicle protection service and thus receiving discounts on car insurance premiums.
