TachoControl
AutoGuard welcomes you to use the new service named TachoControl that is an integral part of the new AutoControl 2.0 system.
Service description:
The TachoControl service consists in transferring by remote control the data from a driver's card and a digital tachograph. The service is executed through the AutoControl 2.0 system with the use of an on-board computer - specially designed for this purpose - NAVTO OnLine equipped with an electronic cards reader. Data transfer is a service „on request" and it is started after initial sending of a request to read in a driver's card. A driver receives then an order in a form of a communicate transferred and presented by Navto OnLine. After a driver's card has been placed in a reader, the data will be automatically transmitted and stored in a central database in the AutoControl 2.0 system. An user (for example a fleet operator) working with the AutoControl 2.0 system is also able to store the transmitted data on a local disc of his/her computer in order to further process and analyse the information.
In a similar way an AutoControl 2.0 user can also transfer the data stored in a memory of a digital tachograph. To execute this operation you need only to select an adequate option in the AutoControl 2.0, which will initiate sending a communicate to the NavtoOnLine about the necessity of connecting a digital tachograph to a connector - specially prepared for this purpose. Immediately after NavtoOnLine has recognised the connection of a digital tachograph the process of an automatic data transmission will be started. The data will be then transmitted to the central base of the AutoControl 2.0 system.
The TachoControl service range covers the territory of all European Union countries. The service facilitates an adaptation to regulations that concern the obligatory transfer of the data from drivers' cards and a digital tachograph memory (the directive No 561/2006 of the European Parliament and the European Council - the obligation of data transfer every 21 days and the data storage).
Additional functions:
Transferred data can be additionally stored by AutoGuard S.A. for the future controls of the Road Transportation Inspectorate- ITD (according to the provisions of law the data must be stored during a one-year period) and the National Labour Inspectorate PIP - (according to the provisions of law the data must be stored during a three-year period). The TachoControl service is an additional option (see price list point 3). If the data are lost and there is a need to restore the information, it can be restored on a Client's request and transferred on a proper storage device.
The data transferred from a driver's card to the AutoControl 2.0 system are digitally signed and they comply in this respect with the provisions of law.
